Avoid Employment Scams
Organizations that are hiring new team members are often the targets of employment scams. These scams impersonate team members of the hiring organization who would be offering interviews, employment or other benefits under false pretenses. Employment scams often trick job seekers into paying money or sharing confidential information.
To help you decide if you are being targeted by a scam, here are some facts about Synapse Health’s recruitment process:
- All email correspondence will come from a synapsehealth.com email address.
- You will go through an interview over the phone and then in-person or through video conference before an offer is made.
- We never send checks prior to the first day of employment or ask you to wire or transfer any amount of it back.
- We never ask people for bank account or social security numbers during the interview process.
- We never ask people to purchase their own cell phone, computer, laptop or any other equipment.
- We never ask people to purchase gift cards during the recruitment process.
