A third-party DME administrator, linking skilled nursing facilities and hospice organizations to network suppliers through the Synapse Equip platform. This digital system streamlines the process of ordering equipment for patients by integrating with EMR systems, providing reporting, analytics, and consolidated invoices.
Through the Connect model, Synapse Health serves as the DME provider on record with the health plan/payer. Furthermore, Synapse Health takes care of the end-to-end equipment ordering process inclusive of order intake, fulfillment logistics and claims submissions to health plans.
Room & Board is a newer initiative for Synapse Health. It was designed to reduce administrative headaches for hospices and SNFs that arise from pass-through billing. R&B addresses these problems with a fully integrated solution that helps hospices and SNFs reconcile records and rates as well as expedite payments.
